Another thing you can do is to make a paste out of the two ingredients. Usually you require just a tiny bit of water to make it into a paste. You can rub this paste onto regions of your body that are especially inflammed. Many people comment that they feel better within about fifteen minutes or so. It might be beneficial to do a test first, for sensitivity to cinnamon. Just rub a small portion of paste onto your wrist and wait ten minutes. It could irritate your skin but you will be aware of within that time frame.
