3. Make changes in your lifestyle. If you smoke, quit. If you binge on alcohol, reduce consumption. When you are stationary, move and be active. When you eat unhealthy foods, choose healthy. Know which foods are bad for the weight and health and know which are contributing to good health and weight.

4. Take into useful actions to the support from friends and family. They are the first to be happy about your progress and the first to show support to your goals.

5. Count calories. This may seem tiresome at the beginning’ however, in time, you will get used to it or know by heart the calorie content of each food.
